We obtained a judgment after a lengthy and costly court battle and contracted with another collection agency who did a cursory investigation and told us there were no assets to pursue. It’s hard to put such a bitter experience behind you with no sense of justice being truly served, so when we received a solicitation letter from JES we decided to give it one more try. They did not just take our upfront money, do a credit search and then give up but rather monitored the subject for 8 months until they were able to find an account from which to collect.
